About Us
Brook Valley Veterinary Clinic was founded 30 years ago and continues to serve the community with the new owner Dr. Laura Means. Dr. Means purchased the clinic in November of 2018 and has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2004. We offer routine veterinary services to cats and dogs including surgery, vaccinations, dental procedures, in-house diagnostics, and more. We also provide house calls for those who have highly anxious pets, owners with multiple pets, or even owner’s who have trouble getting their pets to the vet.

Dr. Laura Means
Dr. Means joined Brook Valley Veterinary Clinic in November of 2018. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in West Virginia since graduating in 2004 from Tuskegee University in Alabama.
Dr. Means is also a graduate of WVU and is an avid Mountaineer fan.

Meaghan started working for Brook Valley in August of 2022. She is currently working towards her Vet Tech certificate and plans to one day go to Vet School. Meaghan has always loved animals and currently has 4 cats and 1 rabbit.
Bailey Glaspell

Bailey has been working at Brook Valley since February 2024.
Clarence
Office Supervisor
Clarence has been apart of this clinic for 10+ years. He loves attention, & being outside during pretty days. Clarence lost his one of his eyes a couple years ago and has poor vision in the other eye. Clarence is good at keeping everyone in line and staying up to date on what everyone is doing.
Carter
Security Detail
Carter has been at the clinic for around 5 years now. He prefers to monitor around the outside grounds but once in a while you could get lucky and see him come inside for food and pets. Carter loves getting attention and is not shy.
